Yahoo releases live search

Yahoo recently released AlltheWeb LiveSearch, a tool that dynamically generates search results as well as additional key word phrases that might match the query as it’s being typed. In my opinion, this seems like a great resource for anyone conducting research, especially if it’s on a subject that they may not be very familiar with.

Broadband access increased by 28%

An estimated 68% of active internet users in the U.S. had access to broadband as of February, according to a recent study from Nielsen/NetRatings. This is up 28% from 74.3 million in February 2005 to 95.5 million this February. What this means to businesses is that you can deploy a more powerful web site that includes streaming audio/video, larger images and more interactivity with less concern over bandwidth restraints. It does not mean that you should add all sorts of bells and whistles just for the sake of adding them. The company plans to roll out the network to 200 malls in the top 20 markets over the next two to three years. With more and more forward thinking ideas like this becoming a reality every day it’s getting even more important than ever to take an aggressive approach to exposing your company through a variety of means.

Yahoo releases yet another tool – Mindset

In an effort to regain the market share that they’ve lost to search giant Google, Yahoo has been releasing new tools at an astonishing rate such as their site explorer.
