Just do one thing every day

Posted by Wildfire Marketing Group | September 21st, 2009

Often, the biggest challenge many people have with marketing is taking the first step.

Marketing your company can seem overwhelming, but it becomes much more managable when you break it down into smaller tasks. For example, instead of trying to reach out to all of your existing customers in one sitting, set aside 30 minutes every day to call them. If you use a contact management system, such as ACT! or Goldmine, it’s easy to keep track of this. By devoting just 30 minutes a day to this task, you will probably be able to call each of your clients within a few weeks or less, but more importantly, you will be more likely to start.

Have you been putting any of your marketing off because it seems like too much effort? Try breaking it down into smaller tasks and see how much more progress you make.
